Arts in Santiago
Around Santiago you will find regular art exhibitions,   plays, concerts and shows.   Some   of   the places you will be visiting are El Gran Teatro Del Cibao, Casa de la   Cultura,    Casa   de   Arte   and Caribbean Cinemas. If you wish to take a look at Santiago.

Golf
Santiago offers you great golfing possibilities. Only 20   minutes away from ISLA you’ll find the splendid Las Aromas Golf Course with 18 holes, located in a hilly area with lovely panoramic views of Santiago and the Yaque del Norte River. If you want to learn how to play golf, it cost less than USD 20,- per lesson (about 2 hours) including the green fee and rental of equipment.  

Beaches

Snorkeling and Scuba diving
Only  one  hour  from  ISLA you  will  find  a  paradise  for diving and  snorkeling.  At Sosúa beach you can enjoy viewing thousands of colorful fish surrounding coral reefs.  Equipment can be rented at the beach. Don't forget your underwater camera!

Windsurfing and Kite Surfing
Cabarete is the Mecca of windsurfing. Windsurfers from all  over  the  world  come  here for  the  special  events  and  competitions or just to practice and  be  around the youthful windsurfing  environment. Cabarete has become  the  hottest  spot in the world for kite surfing. Lessons are available at Cabarete beach. Cabarete is located near Sosua.

Ecotourism in Jarabacoa
Only half an hour from ISLA you will find Jarabacoa, also known as the Dominican Alps, one of the most beautiful regions of the country. For the outdoor adventure,   Jarabacoa offers endless activities such as crayoning,  cascading,  caving,  hiking,  horseback  riding, motorcycle trips, mountain biking, paragliding, hang gliding, quad riding, river  rafting and rock climbing.
